These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the Lumi-Lému website, accessible at www.lumilemu.com.
In these general terms and conditions of sale, the term "Customer" refers to any individual or legal entity placing an order on the Lumi-Lému website.
By confirming their order, the Customer acknowledges having read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale without reservation.
1. The Brand
Lumi-Lému offers raffia bags and accessories, designed around luminous, natural, and easy-to-wear pieces.
Each model is handcrafted in Madagascar. This artisanal manufacturing makes each piece unique: slight variations in shape, weaving, shade, or dimensions may exist from one model to another.
These variations are part of the charm of handmade products and do not constitute a defect when they do not prevent the normal use of the product.

3. Products
The products offered for sale are presented with the utmost care: description, photographs, prices, indicative dimensions, usage tips, availability information, and, where applicable, estimated delivery times.
The photographs reflect the products as accurately as possible. However, slight differences may appear depending on the light, the screen used, or the natural variations of raffia.
The indicated dimensions are approximate. Slight variations may exist due to artisanal manufacturing.
Lumi-Lému models are offered in limited quantities. Some products may be available immediately, for restock, or for pre-order. In this case, the information is indicated on the relevant product page.
4. Price
Prices are indicated in euros, excluding delivery costs.
Lumi-Lému currently operating under the VAT exemption scheme, no VAT is charged on sales. The displayed prices therefore correspond to the prices to be paid by the Customer, to which may be added the delivery costs indicated before order confirmation.
The following statement may appear on sales documents:

Delivery costs are indicated before the final confirmation of the order.
Lumi-Lému reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The price applied is the one displayed on the website at the time of the order.
5. Order
The Customer selects the desired products, adds them to the cart, enters their delivery information, checks the order summary, and then proceeds to payment.
Before final validation, the Customer can check the details of their order, its total price, applicable delivery costs, and correct any errors.
The order is confirmed after payment validation. A confirmation email is sent to the address provided during the order.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, particularly the delivery address and email address.
Lumi-Lému cannot be held responsible for any delay or inability to deliver due to an error in the information provided by the Customer.
6. Payment
Payment is made online, using the methods offered on the website at the time of the order.
The order is prepared only after payment validation.
In case of payment refusal, the order cannot be confirmed.
Payments are secured by the payment providers offered on the website.
7. Availability and Limited Quantities
Lumi-Lému items are offered in limited quantities.
If a product indicated as available ultimately becomes unavailable after order confirmation, Lumi-Lému will contact the Customer to propose, as appropriate:

a wait for restock;

a pre-order if the model can be re-launched.
In case of a refund, it will be made to the payment method used during the order.
8. Pre-orders and Restocks
Some models may be offered for pre-order or restock.
In this case, the estimated manufacturing, shipping, or dispatch time is indicated on the product page or communicated before order confirmation.
Pre-order deadlines are given with a reasonable margin to account for artisanal manufacturing time, transport from Madagascar, and any unforeseen logistical issues.
In case of significant delay, Lumi-Lému will inform the Customer as soon as possible.
9. Delivery
Orders are delivered to the areas indicated on the website at the time of the order.
For the launch, Lumi-Lému currently only delivers to France and European countries available in the checkout process.
Deliveries to Madagascar, Reunion Island, DROM-COM, or other areas not offered on the website are not currently planned, unless a specific prior agreement is made with the Customer.
The applicable delivery or dispatch times are indicated on the website before order confirmation. In the absence of specific indication, the order will be delivered within the applicable legal timeframe.
10. Preparation Times
For products available in stock, orders are generally prepared within 2 to 5 working days, excluding weekends, public holidays, and exceptional periods.
This period corresponds to the time needed to check, prepare, and carefully package the order before handing it over to the carrier.
For pre-ordered or restocked products, the applicable timeframe is that indicated on the relevant product page.
11. Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation, according to the destination, parcel weight, and proposed delivery method.
Lumi-Lému may offer free delivery above a certain purchase amount. If so, the applicable threshold will be clearly indicated on the website.
12. Receipt of Order
Upon receipt, the Customer is invited to check the condition of the package and the product.
If the package is damaged, opened, or shows a visible anomaly, it is advisable to take photos and contact Lumi-Lému promptly at the following address:
In case of a problem with the received product, the Customer is invited to contact Lumi-Lému as soon as possible, attaching if possible photographs of the product, packaging, and a precise description of the situation.
13. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the rules applicable to distance selling, the consumer Customer generally has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.

The Customer may use the standard withdrawal form provided at the end of these general terms and conditions of sale, or any other clear statement expressing their wish to withdraw.
The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, undamaged, unstained, undeformed, and properly protected for transport.
14. Customized Products
If Lumi-Lému offers products made according to Customer specifications or clearly personalized, these products may be excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with the exceptions provided by law.
This information will be clearly indicated before order confirmation when the product concerned falls into this category.
15. Returns
Return costs are borne by the Customer, unless Lumi-Lému is at fault or the product is deemed defective.
The return must be made in suitable packaging, allowing the product to be properly protected during transport.
If the product is returned damaged due to insufficient packaging, Lumi-Lému may refuse the refund or apply a deduction according to the observed condition.
The return address will be communicated to the Customer after their request for withdrawal or return.
16. Refund
After receipt and verification of the returned product, the refund will be made to the payment method used during the order.
The refund may be deferred until the product is recovered or until proof of return shipment is received, in accordance with applicable rules.
Return costs remain the responsibility of the Customer, unless Lumi-Lému is at fault or the product is deemed defective.
17. Usage and Care Tips
Raffia is a natural material: avoid water, prolonged humidity, and excessively heavy loads to preserve the shape of the bag.
Clean gently with a dry cloth or soft brush.
Do not wash, soak, or use aggressive products.
Lumi-Lému cannot be held responsible for deterioration linked to improper use, exposure to water, overloading, improper storage, or unsuitable maintenance.
18. Legal Guarantees
Products benefit from applicable legal guarantees, particularly the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.

Photographs of the product and a description of the problem may be requested to assess the situation.
Slight variations related to handmade production and natural materials do not constitute a defect when they do not alter the normal use of the product.
19. Personal Data
The information requested during the order is used to process the purchase, prepare shipment, ensure customer follow-up, and comply with accounting obligations.
A dedicated privacy policy specifies the data collected, its use, its retention period, and the Customer's rights.

20. Mediation and Amicable Dispute Resolution
At Lumi-Lému, we always prioritize discussion, listening, and finding an amicable solution.
In case of difficulty related to an order, the Customer is invited to contact Lumi-Lému first at the following address: lumilemu36@gmail.com, so that a solution can be sought directly.
If no amicable solution is found after a written complaint, the consumer Customer may, in accordance with applicable rules, use a consumer mediation service free of charge.
The contact details of the consumer mediator will be communicated to the Customer in accordance with applicable provisions.
21. Applicable Law
These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to French law.
In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts in accordance with applicable legal rules.
